Power wiring is very straightforward.
If the 1290 module is the only one in the enclosure:
- Solder the wires from pads "V1_DC" (assuming that you populated the V1 section) on the universal PSU module PCB to any of the "28V DC" pads on the 1290 Module PCB. Observe the polarity!
- Solder the wires from pads "48V_DC" on the universal PSU module PCB to any of the "48V_DC" pads on the 1290 Module PCB. Observe the polarity!
- Make a connection from AGND pad near P283 to the chassis star ground point.
If you are adding the 1290 module to the existing system:
- Solder the wires from empty pads "28V_DC" on the installed module PCB to any of the "28V DC" pads on the newly added 1290 Module PCB. Observe the polarity!
- Solder the wires from empty pads "48V_DC" on the installed module PCB to any of the "48V DC" pads on the newly added 1290 Module PCB. Observe the polarity!
Finally, you can screw the input transformer to the standoffs on the front panel mounting bracket, and screw the main 1290 module PCB to the standoffs on the enclosure.
Now it's time to power on the module and test it.
